What has Open Book Ministries been up to, you might ask?

“New things” is a powerful theme that runs through the Bible. A “go to” promise for many is Isaiah 43:19: 

“See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? 

I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” 

The “new things” theme is often spoken of in God’s Word: 

a new creation, a new heart, a new covenant, and even a new heaven and earth! 

God created our earth with changing seasons. Whether we live in a 4-season region, a desert, 

or the North Pole, our human experience involves change, new things. 

The best part is that God is present in every season and He oversees every new thing. 

Please travel with us in your prayers, on our website, in our gatherings and acts of service

as Open Book Ministries presses into some new things we believe God is stirring! 

We are excited about His good plans for every woman who shares their journey with us! 

Current ponderings to explore, experience, and exalt Jesus are focused on opportunities to gather, 

build meaningful connections, strengthen one another, and simply enjoy life together!

On the horizon are new locations and times for 3 day/2 night Getaway Retreats, 

smaller and briefer fellowship gatherings to dig deeply into God’s Word and to do retreat in His presence, 

insight and support for ministries and Christian businesses, casual meetups and pop up events. 

 It is our heart desire to continue to offer you and the women in your life 

invitations to gather face to face and voice to voice, 

to help you fulfill your place in God's kingdom work, 

to do 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and 2 Thessalonians 1:12 ... 

 “...encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”  

"... so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him,

according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."

This summer, Open Book's servant leaders will gather to tune in 

with the Lord and pursue knowing the what and how of the new things He will speak!
