Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psalm 133:1
A Message From Our Prayer Chaplain, Cathy
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
One translation of Ephesians 2:10 reads that we are God’s masterpiece.
Pause, and think about that.
May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants.
May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.
Psalm 144:12
A sculptor, when he commences on the marble, has only a rough block,
but after days and weeks of working, he begins to see something
like the image he is aiming at producing.
Charles Spurgeon
And we all having been unveiled in face, beholding as in a mirror
the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image,
from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
II Corinthians 3:18
I have often contemplated that scripture …
how does the Lord transform us?
It is a mystery, but somehow He washes us
with the water of the Word,
and we are not the same.
You carry the DNA of God within you.
Let’s allow Him to continue His work of chiseling, cutting away,
and transforming us into His same image and likeness.
Amen ~
