A Message From Our Prayer Chaplain
Ephesians 4:16 – King James Version~Jesus Christ
From whom the whole body fitly joined together
and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the
effectual working in the measure of every part,
maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
I memorized that verse years ago and have never forgotten it.
Perhaps this version of that verse is easier to understand:
Ephesians 4:16 – New Living Translation
Jesus Christ He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.
As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow,
so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
We are all part of a bigger picture . . .
What is God doing on the earth in the bigger picture?
One piece is the Communion America event that is taking place on the
National Mall in Washington DC October 9-12.
There will be 50 tents set up, one for each state, with praise and worship
arising to celebrate and honor our great God.
Then, on the evening of October 11, we will take communion together
to remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This event will be streamed, and if we are not able to attend in person,
we are still able to participate.
We are all part of God’s Bigger Picture; thank God for the Body of Christ
and our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST.
